All national organizations must raise funds to function. ALIPAC has functioned on a more streamlined budget than most. While our budget expanded each year up until 2011, last year our funds started decreasing due to the bad economy, Obama's aggressive actions, and perhaps some complacency after our historic wins in the 2010 elections.

CIVIL UNREST THREATS

We plan to use our ALIPAC network and resources to be the first to detect any civil unrest involving the elections. ALIPAC Must Remain In Crisis Mode Due To Low Funds

Unfortunately we cannot emerge from emergency mode this week and return to our candidate support operations because our funds are too low.

Special thanks to each of you that did chip in over the last few days to help us afford postage for letters to our supporters. Those letters are being prepared now and we hope our past donors will respond.

As of today we have raised $6,400 of the 30k we must raise to complete our candidate operations and fund ALIPAC into 2013.

AT THE TIME OF THIS EMAIL, ALIPAC DOES NOT HAVE THE FUNDS FOR OBLIGATIONS FOR OCTOBER.

At this funding level, ALIPAC will have to permanently cease operations at the end of October around October 31.

On Election Day, November 6, 2012, two very important battles against illegal immigration will be decided in Maryland and Montana. Both of these battles will have a strong impact on quality of life for American citizens in each state and impact the national battle against illegal immigration.

In fact, if the ballot referendum against the Dream Act Amnesty (in-state tuition for illegals) prevails in a blue state like Maryland it could prove a political death blow to the push for in-state tuition for illegal aliens nationally. A victory is possible because polls show a majority of voters in Maryland are with us.

Mitt Romney has made many promises about securing the border, illegals leaving America, and implementation of E-Verify, but he also has many of our most ardent activists worried with vague language about a "permanent solution" coupled with criticisms of Obama for not having passed immigration reform before now.

In several articles, Mitt Romney says he will move on some kind of "immigration reform" early in his term if elected. His plans are incredibly vague much to the consternation of all, but he keeps talking about putting large numbers of illegal aliens into the American military.

So we know that regardless of who wins the Presidential race, another attempt to pass some form of amnesty for illegal aliens is a few months away in early 2013!

We are very pleased to send you word that thanks to your numerous calls and messages, California has issued a veto of AB 1081 dubbed the "anti-Arizona bill." This bill would have made California the first sanctuary state in America for illegal aliens.

Those of you who have taken the time to respond to our numerous email and Facebook alerts against AB 1081 and those of you who have sustained ALIPAC are to be credited for this important win. ALIPAC's largest support base is in California and we are so thankful to those who stood with us in CA! We also thank those of you from other states who came to the aid of our Californians!
